On the occasion of Mother's Day falling within the heart of the month of Ramadan this year, a group of faculty members from Al-Noor University College organized a collective iftar banquet for the residents of the elderly care home in Nineveh. This initiative aimed to achieve two noble aspects of human interaction. Firstly, it aimed to revive the spirit of family and recreate the intimacy of Mother's Day. Secondly, it sought to share the iftar meal with the elderly and bring back the taste of gathering during Ramadan around the traditional Mosul table. At the end of the banquet, the college's team presented a rose to each resident as an expression of love and high appreciation.
