Al-Noor University College participated in the closing ceremony of the Iraqi Universities Debate World Cup, which was supported by Al-Noor University College and held by the International Academy for Leadership and Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the Department of Studies and Planning. It took place in the capital, Baghdad, on Sunday, 10/3/2024, during which the college received the Creativity Shield which was received by the representative of the college, professor Saad Saleh Dhiyab, from Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein, advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Likewise, the debater in the Al-Noor University College team, the student Mohammed Khalil Ibrahim, won second place among the ten best speakers in Iraq, noting that Al-Noor University College team obtained first place at Nineveh Governorate debate level, and second place at the Northern District debate level
