Al-Noor University College holds the first English language development course faculty members of various scientific specialties for three days from 19/9 to 21/9/2022. Moreover, the course includes lectures on English language skills i.e. speaking, listening, pronunciation, writing, grammar and reading.
Al-Noor University College lit its lamps to celebrate the visit of Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, where he was received by Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, Dean of Al-Noor University College. Following that, several topics were discussed during the visit, the most important of which and above all, the services provided by the college to the student, ways of developing private education in Iraq and its supporting role in developing society. After that, the deputy toured the college facilities, clinics and laboratories to see the extent of the administrative and technical development taking place in the college, and expressed his great admiration, calling on academic and scientific institutions to follow the example of our college in what it offers to the student academically and cognitively. Headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Basil Al-Azzawi, the professor at Al-Noor University College, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaaban Ali, Lect. Dr. Huda Fadhel Ismail and Asst. Prof. Dr. Anmar Hamoudi Saeed, a master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Arts / University of Mosul which is submitted by “Hala Ali Hamad”, entitled: (The Production and Reception of Word Juncture by Iraqi Learners of English), the thesis which was concerned with learners of English in Iraq, was accepted with 'very good' degree.
Al-Noor University College is unique in attracting legal institutions by describing the most advanced academic interface in Nineveh. Based on that, the delegation of the Iraqi Journalists Union / Nineveh Branch headed by Hasan Hussein Rashkari visited Al-Noor University College. They were received by Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, Dean of the College, and the delegation congratulated on the occasion of the transition to the new site, expressing their great admiration for the great scientific and academic development that the college offers to the community through its solid cadres and facilities. Dr. Nathume Younis Salih, the professor at Al-Noor University College, participates as a member of the discussion committee for the postgraduate student for the master’s degree, Ayman Nihad Abdulmajeed, in the College of Arts / Department of Translation, University of Mosul, entitled: "The Application of London Linguistic Institute Criteria to the Assessment of the Translation of English Scientific Texts into Arabic". The discussion was headed by Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Ahmed Abdulrahman, and the membership of Lect. Dr. Nathume Younis Salih from Al-Noor University College, and Asst. Prof. Ibrahim Mohamed Ali from University of Mosul. Headed by Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, Al-Noor University College Council held its first session for the academic year 2022-2023, and the council discussed the plans made by the college and departments to manage the academic, scientific and administrative process, as well as the departments minutes of meetings that were raised during the meeting, and listen to the questions of the dean’s assistants and heads of Departments regarding the college progress and ways to advance it. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to open the horizons of knowledge development for the teaching staff through holding of developmental courses in English language, computer skills and teaching methods before the start of the new academic year.
Al-Noor University College keened to be the first to sponsor and support humanitarian initiatives in Nineveh Governorate, including “Back to Schools Festival” to reduce prices and honoring outstanding students, which was held by Baytna Foundation for Culture, Arts and Heritage in Old City of Mosul, in the presence and supervision of Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Chairman of the Education Committee of Iraqi Parliament on Sunday 11/9/2022. The festival witnessed a huge turnout by Mosuli families to get the school supplies for their children with a 50% discount and to enjoy the entertainment activities accompanying the festival.
The (INJSRA) Higher Journal of Science and Research Archives published in its second issue, Volume VI in 2022, a joint research by Lect. Dr. Muayad Aziz Al-Abdali, instructor at Al-Noor University College / Department of Anesthesia Techniques, entitled (Misoprostol for Cervical Preparation before intra Uterine Contraceptive Device Insertion in Patient With No Previous Vaginal Birth). The research that he joined with two researchers Dr. Tahani Ali Aziz and Dr. Huda Abbas Fadhel from Nineveh College of Medicine. It discussed the effect of using misoprostol to prepare the cervix before inserting an intrauterine contraceptive device in a patient who has not had a previous vaginal delivery. [...]
The Dean of Al-Noor University College, Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, received Mr. Tahseen Haddad, President of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate / Nineveh Branch, and the artist Abdullah Al-Asmar, a member of the Music Division in the General Center. The delegation discussed the establishment of the "First Music and Heritage Festival" and the sponsorship of Al-Noor University College, as well as the continuation of opening prospects for joint cooperation between the college and the Syndicate.

The PhD dissertation discussion took place in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Halabja, entitled (The Effect of Exercises According to the Side Networks in Developing some Variables: The Physical, Skill, Functional and Biochemical Abilities of Young Football Players) submitted by Jameel Mohamed Ali, and at the end of the discussion, his PhD dissertation was accepted.
